lane clearing in the east

A BIG THANKYOU FOR ALL THOSE WHO TURNED OUT TODAY!!
AWESOME JOB  smilesmilesmilesmile

i'm heading out on sunday the 8th to the lovely 192-065 to cut back some of the wild stuff hanging in the lane and making it quite narrow in many places

i stand corrected its remembrance sunday this sunday NOT armistice day sorry if i offended anyone smile   respect for all of those lost in war
yes i know its armistice day but i'm out fighting for our (and all other users) freedom on the lanes wink

can anyone join me, mid morning 10 ish, parking can be found at the N.W. end.

reply here or just p.m. me smile

Providing the sky doesnt fall on my head, get swallowed up by the earth or kidnapped by goblins will give you a hand sunday anything I need to bring  to make life easier

best forget the bit about being swallowed up by the earth, went and had a look at Hell Lane north of Chideok, its closed the hole could swallow an articulated lorry with room to spare

we got the chance to ride hell lane earlier this year before it was tro'd on a run with the dorset trf.

the bombhole was interesting as we were going up hill and the tree accross the bottom of the lane was very interesting as well

the approach to the tree

the tree

no pics of the hole i'm afraid.as i was busy helping another pasty munching member through it before he blew a gasket ............

Sorry mate, missus has got plans for me this w/e, and will likely be trekking to Plymouth at some point.  Helped you once, now it seems every outing clashes with something else I have on, so sorry for that blankstare.  Keep posting 'em mate, will get to one again at some point wink

Had to laugh at the little Jack Russell plastered in mud.  Also when we went to look at the cleared fallen tree, Gaschef started losing the bag on the back of his bike.  Steve PT beeped to warn him & we all stopped.  Next thing, there was another beep from behind, it was a 4X4.  We got going & went through the gap in the tree.  I don't think it was big enough for a 4X4 because he didn't follow us through to the end.
