HI Devon TRF

I have just joined the TRF after a fantastic muddy day out on the lanes with a friend last month. Come from a background of touring / sports bike riding and always had a desire to explore off the beaten track. My steed is a KTM 450 EXC

If anyones willing let me join a ride in east Devon this Sat or Sunday PM, then give me a shout

Rich

Welcome Rich,

As one of the bearded pasty eaters, let me welcome you to the fold. You will soon realise that we are all a mickey taking lot, who have a lot of fun.

I look forward to seeing you out and about, even if you do have an orange bike!!!

Yo Rich (Deskhead? gonna have to explain that one)......

Nice to have another Orange squadron member east of Exeter - see below pic of recent squadron training mission in east devon...

Normally have a run virtually every weekend but been laid up for a few weeks, back in the saddle this weekend so I'm sure we can arrange a ride for you in the next week or so mate..

Thanks for all the friendly messages, my KTM sounds suitably controversial !!, and it l looks like there's lots of you out on those East Devon lanes to give me some tips (or pi up bits depending on your view).

Today, I spent what seemed like half the day changing the rear tube following a pun cture...swearing at tyre irons, lack of leverage and stubbon vales... the ausie guy demonstrating 'how to change you motocross tyre' on Youtube made it look so easy ! but i'm pumped back up again and keen to get out amongst it !

Hi Deskhead, welcome to the mad world that is the DTRFG, a sense of humour is vital if you are to survive long term many have come and gone as quick, whatever happens just stick at it and all will become clear in good time. biggrinbiggrin

Looks like jt and I will be out east this sat so keep an eye out for rideout details later.
