my mates brother lives in california he goes to see him twice a year he even owns a crf450 over there basically he says you can just pull off the highway and ride for miles legally without hassle

Except they are trying close big areas to vehicles, not surprising considering that damage, unless its privately owned and with consent I guess - but they have much more space than us!

Yep thats the key dan, loads of space, but what a cool place to ride around.

It reminds me a bit of pisted ski areas in the alps.
