Road Angel Help

Just about to pick up a pampera to run alongside the mighty TTR but want some advice from the angel users out there!

If I want to run the RA on the Pamp, I guess I'm gonna need an external battery pack.

Looking on ebay there are plenty, but i'm no electrician.

Can someone help with a couple of questions

1) What power does the RA draw in amps

2) What rating battery would i need to run the RA for 6 - 8 hours(mA)

Anyone out there run there's like this?

Bozz

Hi Bozz. I believe the "Power Monkey" has plenty of power for a days riding, but I am sure someone on here will have 1st hand knowledge of this.

A power monkey lasts for about 4 hours

You can get them for £27.00 - but this one has a much bigger battery - https://powertraveller.com/iwantsome/primatepower/powermonkeyextreme/

Thanks for all your replies.

JT - the charger you have listed, when riding where do you stow this? I currently use the 'lunch box' method to hold the RA on a ram mount and connect by a 12v cigarette lighter socket zipped tied to the handlebars of the TTR.

Do you put the charger inside the box with the RA?

Also, in terms of connect, what cable do you run between the battery pack and the RA unit? Any pics?

Bozz
