I had a conversation with PC Wallace this afternoon, he is planning to try and intercept riders that are apparently riding on Mutters Moor and East Hill Strips mainly on Sunday afternoons. If the word can be passed around to let riders know they are likely to get there collars felt if they are found deviating from the bona fide lanes.
I ran through the legal lanes in the area with PC Wallace, its the off piste riding they are responding to having been prompted by Clinton Devon Estates and the Forestry commission
I wonder if they will get out of their safe little cars ? The last time i saw the plod at east hill strips we got acussed of illegal riding, we were stopped on a ucr which he did not know about

After being called out by a woman on said highway who was the only person breaking the law but not having her dog on a lead......he didn't go and challenge her did he

In a nut shell, get out on the ground and find out what is going on, i cannot remember the last time a police person actually came up and spoke to me other than ask me what i was doing !!
