Your Trips Away

We'd like to hear of your trips (and recommendations) of runs/rides you have done far and away - not forgetting the pictures (including any organised runs away from Devon)

Went to Lynne's brothers wedding out in Cyprus a few weeks ago.cry.gif

Tried to find a dirtbike to hire but to no avail. Only little 2 seater buggies (that would have required acetlyene cutting gear to get me out off!!) or quads. Apparently drunk brits find it harder to fall off 4 wheels hence the move away from 2 wheels.

Found a company that do quad safaris. Quick run over the controls, around the carpark in line to make sure everyones ok and then off we went. Followed the coast for a bit, very dry and dusty so stopped off for a quick swim. Then up to the highest point for some photos. Down to the bay for a 45 min swim/eat/drink/shower stop and then back across the forest??, (try a few shrubs and bushes), before heading back to Ayia Napa. In total 4.5 hrs and the best day of the holiday for me (don't do weddings. Same as a funeral, always the end of some poor bastards life!!)biggrin.gif

Lynne really enjoyed it and was glad that she got her own quad and didn't go pillion like the rest of the girls. Might even talk her into comming laning now?? confused.gif
