But never mindbiggrin....I gave the bike a blast to see if it was loaded right ..We had a 2mins  of sun window ?? So i took some photos of the bike loaded up!

Wow, that is some loaded up mule you got there.

I would eat the easter eggs myself and tell my mates they melted in the sun smile.gif
(probably why I have no mates)

Have a great trip, hope the weather is good for camping.

Thinking about it, they are also light and enviromentally freindly

Had an Africa Twin a couple year back which rode through France, very nice bike, best colour in my opinion!

I'm off to Southern Spain (andulucia) on Sundays Santander ferry, then riding back up through France. Will be on a Transalp on this occasion, will see how it goes in comparison. Fuel economy may be better but think i'll really miss the easy "Ton" cruising capability of the AT.

Have a good trip,

Mike

Ace. Looks a good trip but those ferry crossings can be quite rough.

Great pics Stevewink

How did you get to find the green lanes - local knowledge passed on/maps/signage?

Reason I ask is because I'm going over to that area in September for a week's camping and have room in the van for the CRF if there's places to ride it! Nothing too technical as I'll be riding on my own but would be nice to sample French lanes...

Great Pics Steve,

Some real interesting buildings. Those roof's would be a challenge - real steep and I hate trying to do rounded stuff!! I found Hips and valleys enough fun for me. confuse

Oh god, I hope that was Hoops on the ferry - we really don't want a double of him no
