That's what I want from a company!

A little moan and praise if you don't mind.

I bought a new RST jacket from sportsbikeshop.com last week as a birthday present to myself (I feel well old now at 18!! Going grey, forgetting myself and where I'm going!). Now, because I'm still at school (2 and a half weeks left), things I order are quite often sent to my grandparents who live just up the road from me simply because I'm away from home for most of the day. SBS emailed me to ask me to confirm my identity because they suspected the purchase might have been fraudulent. "Ideal" I thought, someone who took the step to make sure it was genuine. So of course, I was more than happy to send a scan of my photo driving licence (with some bits blanked out for my own safety...and the face but that's a different matter wink) and proof of my home address.

Secondly praise must definitely go to Ghostbikes and I know that they are well thought of here. Ordered some Nitro boots from their sale with next day couriered delivery. Got an email from them two minutes later to tell me the order was accepted and that I would be notified when it was dispatched.

That's what I want from a company! clap.gif

But, damn it, not everyone is so smooth these days. "fun125" is the company who deal with my Urban. As some of you know, I've had trouble with the Rectifier (yes, rectifier, before any of you cheeky lot think I said something else). They were very quick to take my money (£36 which is reasonable I suppose after research and Xtrip suggested). So far since ordering last Monday (bank holiday I know), I've had nothing to say they've taken my order or they've dispatched the part for delivery.

(Little rant over)

Thanks aww

Glad to hear you got summit you want for your birthday, but at your age wouldn't a nice little tartan rug be better to go over your knees? Or some of those fluffy zippy-uppy slippers?

j/k mate - glad you got some stuff OK, good luck with the rest.

Try dealing with Americans, they are all (in my experience) superb. I've bought stuff from here and the USA on the same day, and the stuff from America has arrived first!

Glad you got something for your birfday that's usefull, now get a bloody bike that works!
