DIRT BIKE THIEVES ACTIVE NOW IN THE WEST COUNTRY

Dirt bike thieves are active now in Somerset.  A Somerset TRF member had his KTM 400EXC 2001 model, registration number X167 NLB, stolen from his locked garage last night, 3rd June 2010. Please review your bike's security and if anyone has any information regarding the above bike please ring 07971 241354.

The bike was stolen from the Bridgwater area. Forgive me if I don't give the exact location as he has other valuable vehicles there.

I hope its not inappropriate to ask, but I think its always worth reviewing security, do you know what the theives broke through to get the bike? was the bike secured in the garage?

I put an extra chain around my bikes last night and will make an extra ground anchor at work on monday.
The KTM was in a locked wooden garage behind the house of the owner and they unscrewed the door hinges. they must have carried the bike out as there was a chain around the back wheel and swing arm and the chain and padlock has gone to, the garage door was put back in place but not rescrewed.

furiousInfuriates you doesnt it.

This will probably be someone that is known and from the area. They obviuosly cased the place for a while to know all the details.

Its as people say if they want it they will get it, just gotta try and inconvienence them in the process.

Have the police got any leads??? PROBABLY NOT!!!!
