A point of order

A point of order.
Near the bridge over the river on the Old Manaton road some idiots have been riding off road and a steep loop has been eroded into the hillside adjoining the road.
Riding such a track may be fun but it is deplorable behaviour that I would hope no TRF member would condone as it undermines the hard work done on behalf of the membership to safeguard our legal routes.
If you know someone who is using this please tell them to desist to prevent it being used against us.
This is exactly the sort of thing that is pointed to as a justification for banning our legal pastime and if we are not seen to distance ourselves from this kind of irresponsible behaviour the TRF may as well disband as all credibility will be lost.

While I've never done the climb you refer to Pete, I have in the past been there (and egged on) people who did. That was before I knew it was naughty and I won't be doing it again - promise.

Would there be any benefit from covering such issues in the shared knowledge day?
