Superb 50 minute video - Gilles Lallay Classic

This event was a legend.  Qualifying in the morning with the main event starting after a suitably long French lunch and finishing late at night.  This is a video of the '96 event and so there is much less glitter than would be around today if the event was still being run.  Things to take on board.  There is quite a bit of snow on the ground as the event was held in November.  If you have never been to a French off road event you will not believe the audience participation.  They just love dirt bikes.

This event is no longer held and has been Limousin Enduro which is an event ridden by pairs of riders and equally daft.  Youtube has plenty of clips from this.

Sadly all in French but not hard to follow and professionally shot.  Crack open a beer and enjoy.  This is really good.

those where the days memories i remember my second bike a moto sport xl250 honda silver tanked one i recall watching trying to follow a enduro event near brstol three of us in this muddy lane stuck up to our foot pegs in gloopy mud ,hear this bike coming a 2t fast ? better get out the way but we are stuck fast around the corner comes this guy on his PE250 on the back wheel wheelying up the middle grassy bit at about 30mph right through us gone we look at each other and think the same thing gods then turn around a slippy slidy out of there took us ages lost. we were
