Ian and Mike have been busy working hard to help advance the aims of LFR (Legal Forest Riders) I won't go into details of just how much effort they've put in, instead I'll leave you guys to read that for yourselves

Their website is up and running and the forums there are now active It would be great if all you guys visited there and registered to show your support

Remember that they need numbers, that is volume of people vocally and visibly supporting their goals, it is for you guys after all

So a BIG well done to Ian, Mike and all the others helping (TRF, Treadlightly as well as individuals all doing their bit)

Just thought I'd pass this on as it's vocal numbers they need to keep moving forward
It's great news that it has the support and approval of Treadlightly and the TRF as it is now also in the eyes of the Welsh Assembly government with their approval in principal thanks to Treadlightly

If a viable and workable scheme can work here then who knows, it may be copied elsewhere in the UK

Looks like a good initiative.  Didn't TTR post something similar a while back (maybe not Wales).  If I remember rightly the Forestry Commission agreed to something like this but the cost of a day's riding was pretty steep.

Well, summit funny's going on, I just registered, when I went to the link to validate my registration my anti-virus went mental saying there's dodgy embedded code.  I'm sure there's not, but it prevents me from validating too.....

^^^^ did exactly the same to me ^^^^ goes even more stupid if going to the site via google. Looks to me like some1 has tagged on a virus to the site?! :os

Norton had a hissy fit - I tried to over ride it but it wouldn't allow it.
On there T & C's it states that they will embed a cookie on your system to remember your log in details..............

problems with the site ?

A few devon members have tried to register but are having problems with authentication.

it seems to think there is a virus attached to the site somehow.

We have been made aware of an issue with authentication but don't believe the problem is with the site.  Steps have been taken to address this issue and in the meantime I've activated all pending accounts.
