Badger spotted in Holbeam!

Dont know why I'm even mentioning this tbh but I'm strangely proud of my FIRST badger! Dont get me wrong, I've dropped it a couple of times and seen plenty of squirrels no but this time I went straight over the handle bars after mis-judging the action of the bike/rear wheel coming down a bank and hitting a pothole/wide rut full on!! I reckon it would've looked like Brownie diving for another pastie having not eaten for a day or 2! biggrinbiggrinbiggrin (sorry matewink)
I must say, I'm rather relieved about it coz I've felt for a while now that my riding has suffered due to the fear of spotting a really big 1 and hurting myself! Rob B and 'guest' were completely wetting themselves!! clap.gifclap.gif I had a big grin too!!! smile
Anyway, sorry to waste your time but I just felt the need to let you all know that I'm no longer a 'virgin'!! blankstare

Ha Sounds like you did it in style! I had a over the handle bars moment yesterday, was not nice, 20mph-0 in less than a bike length :o

Thankfully it didnt hurt as i had a very soft landing! It was a fairly waterlogged area we were riding over with a carpet of heather on top. 5 quads already passed over so i thought it would be alright. Powered on through but didnt get very far at all haha Ground was fairly sturdy either side though. Trust my luck cry.gif

Sounds similar to my water experiences... Everyone else goes through fine, I take a different route and WALLOP, deeper than I thought and absolutely covered!! LOL
