It is with great sadness that I must report the loss of 202-200.

Cut down in its prime, now reduced to a smooth expanse of graded chippings from top to bottom.

A sad day indeed!!

Don't panic - that is some steep hill and if the drainage wasn't attended to as part of the repair then it is likely to get technical again after a wet winter......

Only the long gulley in the middle of the lane has been repaired.
It took well over a decade from the time the first serious washout prompted Devon TRF lane clearing day crew to use shovels,crowbars and picks to make rideable what was still an interesting and technical journey,to the time DCC found the money for repairs and it's "Monsoon Alley" nickname was well deserved.Totnes Motor Club will not now place a Ten Tors Long Distance Trial section there again for some time.
It will be interesting to see how well the repair holds up to weathering.
The same technique was used to repair(completely ruin) 202-076 at around the same time.
The muddy part in the middle of 191-052 has also been seen to.
It is likely that 191-077 will receive the same treatment before long(shame).
