Another TTR fan...............

First day on the TTR 001.JPGFirst day on the TTR 007.JPGFirst day on the TTR 005.JPG

Could not wait for a group run so went out and did a few local lanes by myself this afternoon. ( Yep just like Ming no mates!wink)

Well I think the bikes great, lives up to its reputation as the trail riders choice.
Havent checked what the gearing is but it went up some steepish stuff comfortably in second. (191-41 & 191-38)

Also did 191-42, 37 & 46 all both ways, very enjoyable couple of hours.

Bumped into two potential TRF members from Okehampton, riding a rotax engine CCM 644? set up as a super moto.( He has a set of green lane wheels as well)

His mate was  on another Rotax engined bike, old skool 80's style (Armstrong?) can't remember exactly but very impressive, he had put it together himself. And I thought I'd acheived something fixing a puncture on the lanes recently!biggrin (with help)

Anyway, they said they would check out the forum. Went our seperate ways and headed home.

Looking forward to getting the TTR out on a group run soon!!smile

Good to see you've got a (halfway) decent bike Paul!

I like 'em - had one in Spain for a few months and would've kept it if we hadn't chosen Hondas for the business.

Still think you're a bloody traitor but I suppose a TTR is okay(ish) and better than a CRF 230..... but then what isn't?

If Ming says "a CCM" he's getting a visit......

You might want to safety wire those foot controls as they do stick out are are very low. Bob's your man for bullet proofing a TTR.wink
