Cardinham trail ride

I would like to thank all members who helped make Sunday the great day it was. I took a fair risk on Sunday running a trail ride for people with disability in Cardinham Woods amongst the general public with children, dogs, cyclist and horse riders but the end result could not have been better. Forestry commission guy was more than happy, no complaints and we gave rides to over 40 people who made a donation to have a ride in addition to the 50 people with disability that were sponsored to take part. You all help raise just over £2300 for St.Austell PHAB to put in their mini bus fund.

If you wish to take part next year please get in touch, or prehaps you fancy running one in Devon I would be more than happy to help.

Wow thats a tremendous sum raised, but of course its the smiles on peoples faces which makes it all worthwhile. It was a pleasure to help again, the sunshine and location and of course the people made the day another one to remember. i would urge people to get involved if you can. Well done ross and crew. jacki and chris

Chris.

It was a great day Ross, and a nice sum of money raised towards the mini-bus.
You're right- it was a bit of a gamble with the woods being open to the general public, but it just goes to show that if it's done properly everyone can enjoy their day together.
Looking forward to the next one.
Well done.
Rob.
