The Group needs to buy a projector and screen for use at meetings (e.g. mapping workshops) and when we have guest speakers as I no longer have access to the one I used to bring along. Can anyone either recommend a good place to buy one or perhaps get one with a discount through their work? As usual, looking for a good price and reliability so that we don't have to buy expensive replacement bulbs every five minutes. Probably only need VGA/USB and not HDMI.
I saw a huge TV screen mounted on the wall at the end,could that be used?
I thought the same too and messed around with it on Tuesday. I was told it has a USB input, and although it has a USB port, it's for servicing only (I brought some stuff to test and it didn't work). It has an HDMI input which would work if we could guaruntee we have a laptop available capable of HDMI output, but we can't, and besides for some stuff the 50" screen isn't big enough if you're sat at the back. So it seems the easiest and hopefully cheapest route would be to get ourselves a projector.
