Makes Devon lanes seem tame by comparison.
Fording that wide river half tank deep was impressive.
Funny how there were nine bikes but only max four in shot at one time.
Impressive bit of riding.

from my reading so far (and i have been doing a bit ! ) 650cc seems to be the best compromise as there are long ferry stages on the road of 1000 miles plus on a lot of these trips and the 400-450cc bikes are a bit wearing fully loaded (unstable at speed and too stressed on long blasts)

Just read that whole thread on ADV rider, seriously reccomend every one else doing so, some of those shots are absolutley stunning!
