Just spotted this on ebay 83 Rm500 (Shouldnt it be a 465?)

Speedo fitted and what looks like a rear light? Should be intresting, Might put a bid in. Quick trip down to dvla and away biggrin

The 500 was 83 to 84 I think, would be too much for the lanes I think.

Also a bit expensive for a barn find?

Really? I thought that was abit of a bargain, 82 465 went for 3k on there the other day, restored but this one looks good

Certainly worth restoring and racing. Not sure it would last long on the road though.
These early 80's motocross bikes are starting to become very desirable now.
If you get your finger out, you could buy and restore it in time for the Evo MXDN at Farleigh Castle in September.

Assuming it needs a good overhaul I'll cost you at least £1k to do it up, but prob more like £1500 to 2k prob good value but not cheap !!
