So, i have dusted off the diary and i am planning the year ahead, as the shared knowledge has been a success so far i would like to get a feel of numbers for this year. I am looking at the 25th June and hopefully Noel will kindly host at Haccadown.
So who's up for it ?

I would be up for it again this year, if it were to go ahead! Great day out last year, and I could always use a bit if someone else's experience and knowledge.
Chris.

It would appear that I am quite grumpy today; strangely, I didnt notice this until I came into contact withidiots.
Just out of interest the Horizons Unlimited Meeting is on over that weekend. I know I have spoken to a few TRF members that showed an interest.
Great event hosted in Ripley - covers all things adventure motorcycling from First Aid to Tyre Changing - to Carnets, Paperwork etc. It only costs £35 and that includes the camping.
I'm trying to think of a suitable response.........but.......
Maybe Pearcy can come, if he entertains attending members by trying Jamies jump up the rubber mat in front of the barn. Only trouble will be a new instructor for the topic of extracting DRZ and rider from 20 ft up a tree will be required
Any other suggestions of a baiting nature greatfully recieved

Riding with enthusiasm upon the ragged precipice of disaster
It has become apparent that as new riders join the Devon TRF most have never ridden a green lane in their lives let alone get there bike dirty. Whilst doing a bit of gardening one Wednesday night not so long ago it was decided to explore the need to run a Shared Knowledge day. Some of the old guard have been around the tracks and lanes for many a year and along the way experience is gained good and bad. So to enable you the Newbie to really enjoy you riding we have come up with a series of sessions at Haccadown woods for you to get a feel for what is right from our perspective. We are there to pass on our experiences and we hope you can find that difficult question for us to answer. The day is informal and we really want you to get the most out of all the sessions. Open discussion is encouraged as with most topics in the Devon TRF Group so please do not be afraid to ask. At Haccadown Woods there are all the facilities you need including Kitchen, Toilets, Showers, Map Room, Sleeping area should you need a nap and of course the chill out area for talking about anything you like.
The session are:
1. Bikes and Kit 2. Bike Setup & Maintenance 3. Tools, Hints & Tips 4. Code of Practise & Navigation
If Kerry is available he may offer to setup your suspension whilst you wait
So what are you waiting for ?
