As far as im aware they stopped the drz's in 07 but the DRZ e has since been sold in the off road range and not as road legal, most dealers have to road reg them

I think the stopped the E for a year then bought it back, but to be honest my memory is shot!!

Dealers have to register all bikes, they dont arrive from the factory registered! biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I bought a new one in December. I was told by a Suzuki employee at the NEC bike show that they re-introduced the 'E' model only in 2010 due to public demand.

The other models were stopped due to emissions back in 2007. Apparently because of the low volume ( 500 per year) that they are importing, as 'off-road' bikes they do not need to comply with the strict regulations.

You obviously have to road register them, which involves a speedo, horn, brake light, legal tyres, etc.........
