You really are great fellows to know. Now I know why it's called the Trail Riders Fellowship, because it really is a Fellowship, and thats a rare thing nowadays.
The week I joined, JT and Tigerman took me out for excellent "learning experiences" and gave me sterling advise on how to enjoy the beautiful green lanes of Devon while riding a bike. They also introduced me to the world of badger bites, and to my surprise they were happy to help pick me up and get me going again. I honestly didn't realise how falling off would be so entertaining. But believe me, every ride I have been on has been the same, everyone out for the good of the group, always happy to lend a hand, and not just out themselves. Thanks to Bob Lewis for helping me up that massive rocky hill near Crediton, the one I will never forget as that's where I discovered that if you can't ride it up, we all push it up together!!!
Thanks to RichT4, Devon Dan and several others that guided me to my first steps in bike mechanics. I watched Nick Schofield, bodge Dan Fulfords throttle to get him home, then he followed him home to make sure he was safe before re-joining the ride . I watched six fellows all join in to fix Tigermans puncture, all sharing tools and laughs.
The forum is fantastic, any problems a quick search or post will get you sorted in no time. I have met members from here that have helped me solve issues or arranged "hands on help", some of these guys I have never met before arranging a meeting through the forum.
I have had so much advise from so many of you about setting up and using the Road Angel, including Craig, JT, and Brian - Thanks to all of you for your time and energy. Harty even popped round to my house within 10 mins of a phone call to sort out some of my RA issues!!! What a guy!!!
I for one am proud to be a member of the DTRF. I am so grateful to all of you for you help and ongoing support. I just hope I can be as good a member and follow the example so many of you have already set.

No worries Kev, I love to talk about bikes & DRZ's so it really isn't a chore. Keep getting out and having fun though - that's what it's all about really.

Just wait till summer hits us with those long day out with yer mates on the bikes and rides home in the cool evening mist, and your gonna love the events we do!
As a relative new comer myself I would whole heartily agree, and especially where new members are concerned. I have been made to feel very welcome and I'm not even from this county. There is a real community spirit which is so saddly lacking these days.
