TRF Leaflets

I was reading the TRAIL magazine and saw the TRF do leaflets and dispensers and was wondering if we do a push and put these up in our local motorbike shops such as CMS and DIRTBIKE BITZ in Colyton, Was thinking it could maybe sign up some new blood!!!
Please let me know if i should put one in cms and one in dbb.
If there are no objections i shall see Debbie for some.

If the shops (or any shop) are happy to display them, then its no problem.

(Don't know whether CMS would agreed to it though).

Let me know and I'll send some out to you.

Debbie

Is Dirtbike Bitz open then?  I live in Colyton but I can never see an entrance and assumed they were postal sales only.

Even when it wasnt you could phone them and then go pick up your stuff - if he aint there he would leave it out back for you smile.gif

When I did PR for Devon TRF a couple of years ago I went around loads of bike shops, mainly in Mid & East Devon but some from North Devon & 1 or 2 in the Torquay/Paignton area.
Nearly all agreed to have leaflets & dispensers on the counter & most will now give TRF discounts.
I expect they may have run out but haven't let us know so it would be a good idea if members were to ask when visiting said establishments.
A quick note to DHH (or Paul Farrow, our current PR officer) could then get further leaflets sent out.

CMS were not very forthcoming but you can usually get some discount (typically 5-10% if you ask).

Personally I think it'd be great if everyone who went into any bike related premises tried to promote the TRF & enquired about the possibility of discounts (on production of a current membership card of course), It benefits us all.
Go for it biggrin
