TRF friendly campsites?

Hello all,
I'm new to the group and trying to find some helpful information on behalf of the West Mids TRF....if possible?
We're planning a group weekend trip to South Hams in June and I've been tasked with sorting a potential campsite. It doesn't help that I've never been before either! no
Would anyone happen to know of a suitable campsite or friendly farmer (with facilities) anywhere in the Totnes region, who would be willing to accommodate up to a dozen or so riders?

Any pointers gratefully appreciated.

Hi Si, welcome to the Devon open forum.

I'm sure a few of the guys will coment on campsites.

Regarding routes; let us know if you need help, with 12 riders i guess you will need a couple of runs, i'm sure we can sort a couple of run leaders.

Hello again,

Thanks for the generous offer, though we have 3 or 4 run leaders who regularly come down and stay at B&B's etc. Might be good to meet up with some of your lot if interested for a run on either day?

I often see posts like this on various forums and they hardly ever seem to get answered.

I think it's because the locals are the wrong people to ask as they would probably never need to use a local campsite and probably won't be aware that it's even there.

Best thing to do would be to look on the ukcampsite website and see what's close by.
If you find one you like then ask about it here as there maybe someone close by who can check it out for you.wink
