Sam Manicom Night

Thanks to those that organised the Sam Manicom night. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I found his talk really interesting and I enjoyed his presentation style, which is very different from most other travellers I have listened too. He portrayed a "easy" slower paced journey full of interest and sights. Most refreshing. His take on North America was a real eyeopener.

I have to say that the presentation combined with the Dolphin's very own Rack of Ribs left me very satisfied.

A great night out for £20...fantastic value.

Thanks again too all concerned.

Cant belive it took two waiters to get that Plate to your table Kev! winkwinkwink

Sam defo is the man, he never fails to let us down, he might not have the manic comic presence of our Mr Vince but his easy going style more than makes up for this, he is very listernable. Not bad for a guy who had a kidney transplant just 16 weeks ago.

Thanks to the members and guests who turned out and thanks to Sam & Birgit.

All 4 of Sams books will soon be on the national TRF website shop, if your interested.

cheers guys
