A sad farewell

After 20 years of owning Honda XR's it was time to say good bye!
Happy times on the XR600 many laughs and many tears !!
Wait a minute lots of bloody tears ...

1) The bastard kicked back (bruised foot!)

2) cracked knee on tally hurt...then trying kick it back to life!

3) Kicked back again O sh*t I've broke my foot....hop hop ice pack!!
few bears it be OK ...2 hours later the pain is to much cry
I got my ex to drive me to the hospital all she said was that bloody bike blah blah!!!
In hospital I'm starting to feel sick....the pain is to much
after a X-ray ......there's two X-rays 1 with a smashed foot (I'm going 2 pass out!!)
1 with cracked bones & ripped tendons(the last one mine)
Doc "said you would have been better off with a broken foot"
two weeks of hopping ! it still hurts to this day!! that was 6 years agocry

So five years left in the garage unloved it was time to say good bye
The new victim came down from Southport today
it kicked over 1 kick for me biggrin
it kicked back on the new victim
The deal was done the cash was handed over the bike was loaded up on van and off it went!!! yippee!

Still the XR600 is a great bike had 3 of them all 85/86 ones best one in my eyes
You never know i might have another one biggrin

The XR400
went last week to a new home in Newton Scabbot
One of Clayton & Jools friends he loves it

So its new bike (well newish)
