Need a new tyre ? (+ fitting)

Mr Justin Gibbs, at Gibbs Performance, Saltash - charges just £2 to a fit a tyre to a loose wheel.

Also sells his tyres at a very competative rate.

Last weekend I got a MT43 rear fitted to a loose wheel, from Pro-tyre in Plymouth. Costing me £71. Justin could of done it for £55 cry

Just spreading the word biggrin ......

Fit it yourself, good practice, and satisfying to know you can fix a puncture whenever and wherever!

I just bought 4 tyres for my bikes, was quoted £180 fitted or £130 supply only. (Protyre Exeter)

A saving of £50 for doing the work myself. Takes about 30mins a wheel. so £25 per hour for my time. Not bad and I'm getting quicker! wink

Yea but £2 to have one fitted?????

The plasters I use on my knuckles cost more than that.........

Actually, and I am being serious now, the last but one time I changed one myself (after shared knowledge) I bashed my finger and it swelled up so bad I had to go to A&E and have my wedding ring cut off disbelief.

It cost me £50 to have it fixed, and her indoors was not impressed that the bike had caused a 'symbolic' chopping off of said ring ashamed so £2 is a bleddy bargain wink
