2 Stroke sub £1000

Hi guys,

I'm after a 2 stroke trail bike, not too bothered capacity wise, 125cc would be fine but 200cc/250cc even better. smile

As the title says, I'm looking to spend under a grand, tight student you see wink

Would want the bike to come with a fair amount of MOT but will consider anything. Not too bothered about tax.

Have cash waiting smile

Cheers, Cooky

I second what Nick has said - if that RMX is still for sale, go take a look.

I would have that like a shot if I could get it past the Mrs. Its a great bike.

Cheers guys, I was looking at that but assumed it had sold because it was removed from fleabay... Do you know what money he's looking for it now Nick?

I am tempted! Only problem is i think this may fall foul of my 33bhp restriction? no

Good idea Simmo, hadn't thought of that wink

I've been offered a 1998 Aprilia ETX 125?? Had a look at it and seems straight enough, apparently runs the same Rotax motor as the RS 125 but not 100% sure as it felt quite restricted on test ride, whether it was just choked up i don' t know?? confuse

Not sure whether the chassis would be up to laning is my only worry? Looked fairly similar to Lost's Cagiva project, Brembo brakes, Sachs shock etc... minus the air cooled motor.

Anyone had an exprience with one?? Think I'd still feel better with a KMX/CRM/later TS??? Hmmmmmm confuse

Cooky, have just read your post, and it may be of interest that I have just MOT'd (12 months) my beloved CRM250 in order to sell her.  As a previous member of the West Midlands TRF she provided alot of Green Lane Fun.  However now living in Devon the call of the Ocean has now become my new past time.  So if a J reg MkII is of interest I am asking £850.00 for her, let me know.

Cheers in advance
