kawasaki klx 250

Has anyone have a unbiased view on the new Kawasaki KLX 250, I also understand that buying a new bike for greenlaneing is going to trash it relatively speaking.

It would break the bank to buy new but is it not better to buy something that was new rather than spend time and money repairing worn out probs on a 2nd hand bike all the time! economics? does it work that way in this case? Anyway I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has a view.

Thanks

Nigel

always thought they looked quite nice, electric start = good , 21" and 18" rear = good, i bought a 1 year old honda CRF250X when i started , yep i fell of lots, the plastics are very scratched but it is all in one peice, never let me down, cant say i regret buying something so new to learn on as such, its a great bike, 2 years down the line, if i put new plastics on it and give it a good clean it would look a nice 2007 again, but no point, to many things to scratch it, dont really fall of any more as such but overgrown lanes scratch plastics, you could always buy a 1 to 2 year old, or just remove the plastics and put on aftermarket one to keep originals new, aftermarket plastics are normally pretty cheap, look up on ebay, kev
