Gently or full throttle, depends on your long term requirements.  Best bet is to just use it without going mental.

Use decent oil - Motul 710 + prem + fuel if you can

Ran my last two stroke in with a very light 20 mins road work 1/4 to 1/2 throttle max, stop and let the engine cool down, then another 20 mins of the same, trying not to labour the engine, stop and let cool down again, the final 20 mins was a slightly more spirited ride home, change the oil and check for any signs of problems, when they're new and tight let the bike warm up on the choke, not with big handfuls of throttle, this was the advice from my engine builder ,you may want to ask what your mechanic recommends.

Just had my KTM200EXC fully rebuilt (Justin Gibbs). His recommendation was take it easy for 1 hours riding (not constant revs, not high revs, not labouring) then done.

Easy peasy..............smile
