Cheers Brownie, bit of a shame though as it was quite a good day out in past years. Guess I will cut the bloody grass instead!!!

Don't think it's on this year, there's no advert on the boards outside Westpoint having driven past several times in recent weeks.  Funny thing is Mrs. Hoops (zero bike interest) noticed it before me confuse  Anyone got any ideas why it's not on?

Normally such a trite negative response would irritate me but Simmo can be excused if he only went to the last two events. This was once a cracking day out with a lot of entertainment, bargains and interest.

The number of stalls has dwindled in recent years due to ever higher charges, and the cost of entry has gone up to the point that I felt I had been ripped off last time. There was a lot of empty space in the hall and a lot fewer people and I saw everything in about an hour where it was formerly a day long event. No bargains, less displays and a lot less punters year on year. I would not have gone even if it had been on again.

It might appear to be negative but in my humble opinion me lud it is realistic.  I last went over two years ago (07/08?).  Mainly people trying to sell you stuff with little in the way of show. I know where Bridge is I don't need to see their trailer somewhere else.

Stunts were OK but I can do better without trying or wanting to do them. biggrin

Ally Pally in the 80s, was a show...
