Splitting Cases 2


IMG_0795[1].JPGJust before I went away in september, someone had put a post on about splitting and assembling crank cases, here is how the Koreans do it

First you take the front end about 4000 tons

Then you take the back end 6000 tons give or take the odd ton

Then you lift up the top bit

The whole process of putting the pieces together took just under one hour, 12 hours later it was all welded together and ready to float

From begining to end a new ship sails away every 3 weeks!!!!!

Now what was the problem with a pair of 250cc 2 smoke crank cases
