250 two stroke, something like a kdx250

on the hunt for something around 250cc ideally a 2 stroke and ideally a kdx250 or something similar.

I'm totally new to green laning so it's going to be thrown at the scenery. (a lot!)

will take something that needs a bit of cosmetic 'tarting up' if it's mechanically good for cheap as chips money or will spend a little more if it's nice and tidy.

don't really want to spend more than about a grand all in unless it's a jaw dropper and I can't resist! no

I've been in discussion with Phill over the second one and have just dribbled over the first one.

I'd prefer a kdx250 but would take a kmx if I could get one for the right money.
saw a very nice one with twelve months ticket and in very very nice condition go for £900 a few days ago.

A word of warning ! i seem to remember the early DTR/KMX sales war ? the yam had the wheels chassis and the kawasaki had the stonking tunable / engine the early KMX also had steel wheel rims ? not as strong or as light as alloy ?
the KdX 200 sr nice bike i have one but more tuned standard for the Ten tors gentle bottom end so to speak when fitted with a FMF Fatty turns into a brute i recall lol
better sus wheels etc ? lost aww
