Towbar/hitch fitting in Mid/ East Devon

Hi all, looking at getting a towbar/ hitch fitted to the scenic,  and looking for some positive experiences/ recommendations.

a mate and neighbour have suggested two to steer clear of (one cullompton and one marsh barton), but need it sorting in next week or so.

Would need to be a while-you-wait job, or even mobile fitter if anyone knows someone any good

I used the one at Kingsmill Estate, very over priced. I've also been to Western Towing and they did a good job and were cheapish

I bought a towbar for my Vivaro van from here

& fitted it myself. The bar was a great price & is still as good as new nearly 3 years later after loads of use but I'm not sure what their fitting prices are like.

I do know of another builder who did have one fitted from these & he's happy with it

Get one from a scrapyard or ebay for £25 and fit it yourself.

Towbars are in the MOT now so make sure you do it right.wink

I might go and get a price from the discount tools, I know they used to recommend a mobile fitter but he wanted £100 and that was a few years ago! might get some up to date prices.
