Well I took the lad for his 1st proper ride on Sat, started off on the normal route round town (192) 315, 064, 056 etc and then went to look at 265 .
Then we headed north up 047 and down to 034 where a big lorry was parked in the southern end - but a quick shout over the hedge saw a frendly (and interested in our bikes) trucker come forth and shift it. A quck blat down 'a nearby 'C' lane saw me stall the KTM much to my embarrasment and the lads entertainment
A bit of road work took us over towards 011, 268, 006 and then across to Tiverton to see Grandad for a brew......he was not impressed with the 2 muddy bikes on his nice new block paved drive
Back towards home and we came up via Sampford and cut through to 007, 008, 012, 254, 008, 016 etc and then back home via 034, 043 and 056...
The lads little Rieju 50 performed faultlessly and kept up with me on the lanes no problem, even on the road sections it wasn't really an issue - I won't say how quick it was going in case his mum finds out but suffice to say that Delveys adivice on what pipe to fit worked and it goes 'very well'
So a great day out in the Sun, and to top it off we both poddled over to Bickley on Sun for a few hours to watch the enduro......
What a brilliant weekend!
