Does anyone know where I can get a Comp 4 front in the Exeter area? Albion say Michelin can't supply at the moment.

After reading old forum messages it looks like a popular choice.

Alternatively, a Bridgestone Gritty ED 663 or a Maxxis M7313 seem pretty good

Try Karl at protyre Exeter he will give you some discount if you mention trf.

Thanks Rob but Karl at Protyre Exeter has one at £53 inc Vat less TRF discount. it's now got my name on it but he does have more stock.

Blimey that is a good price, so much for inflation and rising material costs. Last month there was a shortage of tyres now the market seems flooded. I guess my stocks will remain on the shelf until the next crisis.

 Just read my post again, it may be a bit misleading. The £53 is the price I pay after the TRF discount has been taken off but may be worth going to speak to Karl Brian.

I went to pro tyre to see Karl and he did me a stonking deal on two michy s12 xc best tyre I've ever used. So much positive grip. The Metz 6days that came with the bike new had done 350 miles and were gettin past there best. Fully recommend pro tyre. The fitter knows his stuff and doesn't scratch rims and does everything back to correct torque settings. Thanks Karl. Best price I've found uk wide and local. Just get ya bike ready and get out on the lanes if not see u at Somerset day.

I agree, picked up my tyre from Karl on Thursay then he took me out to the motor cycle fitting bay, yes they have a seperate area with all the kit for bike tyres, to show me the best way to change it. Great service. Thanks Karl.
