Just wondered if anyone had a TTR headlight and plastic surround lying around in their garage, that they want to sell on? ( Before I go to to the obvious Man and purchase a new one!)
Had a slight mishap whilst avoiding a car and had an argument with the hedge!

I think have a headlight but the glass is cracked, i'll wonder up to the garage later to make sure it's there & how bad the crack is.
If you can,t get anything else it may be ok.
Are you ok?

I'm ok thanks Steve hurt my hand a bit but not too bad. The Headlight is ok, its the surround that supports it all that is damaged.

I'm pretty sure the surround is perfect.
When I bought my TTR the garage had put an aftermarket light on for MOT. They gave me the original & from memory it's pretty much as new.
Could be a result

Sounds good Steve!

Strip of plastic cut to shape and stuck with epoxy and rivetted in place. Not tidy but does the job !
Might have to have ago at that as well Bri, the accident was similar to yours. I was lucky to get through the gap and end up in the hedge though! Phil400 was following he reckons it was pretty impressive!!

You got a good memory! Put me off leading for a while. Looking at maps/GPS screens on narrow winding country roads is always going to carry its risks
Still get a few aches and pains from the crash but I came off best - the Peugot was a write off
