Guy, I have always found that with pistons, you get what you pay for. I use Wossner in the Husky. In 10 years, never had a problem. Everyone will have their favorite though. What make is the O.E. piston ?

Vertex, pricey but more than Likely to last a hell of a lot longer than Mitaka, I need to check my valve Clarence and do the piston but bricking it as never opened up a 4t. Anyone quote me to do it lol
Why put a cheap piston in to the heart of your engine! Wossner, Prox and Namura are each as good as each other. Give me your requirements and I will give you a price for each.

Cheap is Cheap for a reason, and normally its the quality, You may save 40 quid now and have to spend 400 plus when the thing gives up the ghost, not to say that the better makes dont fail. I always fit the best quality internals and it pays dividends in repair costs in the future
Depending on the make and model if you fit OEM parts you may even have a warranty claim if it went wrong

I want the valves check & shimmed if needed and a new piston/rings/gaskets and just a general once over Ill get all the bits together first just need a price for someone to do it as I'm just not ready. I do want to learn but not from my Mistakes :)
