It should be clear by the lack of response to your thread as i can only guess people are voting with their feet or fingers if you like
Hopefully i can try and explain or go some way to explain but i'm not entering into a full blown slagging match in either direction, if you want sensible replies ask sensible questions without ranting, as i'm crapped out on this subject with a low tolerance for the very subject
BUT out of respect for Delvey who has inpeccable credentials in the lane clearing world i'm prepared to go the distance - respect is the name of the game
Well I guess it was going to happen sooner or later
The inclusive part is a big part with in the Devon group but there is a cut off level and he reached it
Most people will tolerate so much for so long and then things begin to snap as the overload button kicks in.
Youve just posted your concerns, as understandably hes your mate, plus you like to pledge your loyalty as a good friend would.
Weve tried to accommodate Joe since the AGM well before Xmas, loads of opportunities have come and past for him not only to make a fresh start but also to iron out any problems!
He quit the forum back along, now hes suddenly re appeared under a different I.D. with a mission or opportunity to start his own business, nothing wrong with that and he did gain a fair bit of interest.
There is a Danger element within any group that a few will try and upset the majority, there have been many contentious posts/threads not too mention slagging the general TRF and its members
He never really took on board the events idea about running a legal bike with the required kind of tyre requested for that particular event
Hazelwood springs to mind last year, it had to be spelt out on several occasions and by me on the last, just recently Smeatharp and that was before anyone knew who was Ricky (obviously except you chaps)
The group has witnessed once before how disruptive one person can make things a few years ago now
Lets move forward and Im sure you would help your mate by explaining things to him.
The last couple of days the group and forum have witnessed a different side to joe and his ability to be nice even though he was trying to sell his business items
The TRF is not just about money and raising it
Friends, fellow riders, mates helping each other, doing various tasks such as R.O.W. lane clearing, forum, events to organise, treasurer, welcome officer, chairman, membership secretary, news letter chap, Group secretary for introducing new members with a welcome pack, meetings to be chaired, A2E to organise plus many more things.
Loads to think about and more importantly loads to do.
If all of the above is taken away by trying to spend time on sorting one person out on a forum who does not heed warnings or cant self moderate
