Being a TRF Event organiser virgin i must admit to a few nights lying in bed thinking about everything which could be a problem, i need not have worried.
My thanks go out to the following, sorry if i have missed anybody but lots have happened over the period of hard preparation work which has gone on over 1 sat and 3 sunday's.
Mike Salter for his close relationship with Frank the landowner, knowledge of the land, course marking and Marshall for the Day. Mike is still a very good rider and in the past an British Enduro Ace !!
John Tan**** (jt) my man in the background who did all of the test riding especially in the woods i will let him tell you about that, course marking and Marshall for the day
Mark Fishwick (Gruff) he is the scary bloke with the beard, who can knock up a brew in minutes anywhere with his Storm Kettle, course marking and Mark was also Marshall for the day.
Clayton Brooks, for his advise on the finer points of administration and conducting sign on and vehicle saftey checks on the day, i do miss him riding though.
Chris Cole, for course marking and Marshalling on the day.
Jacki Cole for sterling work at the sign on desk, who at times disappered behind the que !!
Nick Cook for course marking, providing battery charging for the radio equipemt, sign making and Marshall for the day
Kerry Dunn for course marking, para medic his services were not required so he was able to ride some and Marshall for the day
Steve Taylor, for sign on duties, and steering the ship on occasions that i needed to ride off to see all was well on the course
The Edwards family for providing the catering, the que was 15 deep at times
And last but not least you the riders who turned up to support the DTRFG in there efforts to keep our lanes open, THANKYOU

Top, TOP marks to everyone involved in what was indeed a great days riding Well organised, well thought-out courses, well signed, well marshalled, well catered, well .......... what else can I say aside that I can't wait for the next one!
Thanks Doug, for all the hard work and sleepless nights that you put in as well.
I for one had a brilliant day even though I was technically working. Meeting old friends and making new. The camaraderie of the Devon trf group and trail riders in general never ceases to amaze me.
I would like to echo Dougs thanks and thank all those who helped to make the day, such a truly excellent one.
From the 3 Glos TRF who made it down to you. I think we would all like to congratulate you all on a cracking event & look forward to another. A huge thanks to you all for this one
I had a fantastic time! It was my first TRF event and I couldn't have asked for better. The course was excellent (I kept to the easier bit), the advice well needed and the welcome second to none - even down to me being lent a KTM 400ish bike for a while (excuse my ignorance on the model) which was , frankly, generous beyond all expectations. Turning up on a KTM 990 Adventure and TKCs was ... interesting.
Wondered who I saw wrestling that gert Adventure round the MX track respect! - glad you enjoyed yourself
I you fancy a ride round East Devon on it then we have some lanes (once it drys out ) you could do on that and we would be only to glad to show you round - PM me if ever thats of interest.
thanks to all involved in a great day raising lots of £££ for something we all enjoy!
and a big thanks to (sorry terrible with names) the guy with the husaberg besde me who helped sorting out my gear selector which could have made my day a lot shorter than i wanted !
Would like to but as you know this takes lots of organising and the land owner has agreed to only two dates this year, we are on probation so we are not going to push the envelope.
