A number other forums I have used in the past have a 'like' button on each post giving other members the ability to simply like or endorse a comment or statement that has been made. In my experience it adds to the general feel on the forum and gives a good gauge on how active the forum can be. At the moment many users will, come online have a browse but not post as they don't have a lot to say. The like button would give them a simple way to get involved and express an opinion.
if we really wanted to spice things up we could have a 'dislike ' button as well
sorry if his has been covered before, idid a search and couldn't find anything.
I like it on other forums as it stops people from quoting a previous post and only adding "+1" under it, or just replying with a "+1". That doesn't happen on here so much, maybe it's because we don't often agree with anyone else.
I'd like to see it...., but it seems it's not an option.

No, he respond's to 999 calls from morons who get 'harrassed' on FB or by txt, or who's kids fight over the X box, or whose phone runs out of credit etc etc.....
He may well do as you say also though as do many employers I 'suspect' - IE don't phone in sick and then post pics of yourself on the beach....
People find it easier to call the police rather than use the unlike/block/report function. Not the fault of facebook just the dumb fu*** who don't know how to use it.
