Should be okay for that. The fridges can take quite a bit of power if only on 12 volt and are not particularly effective, the gas ones work very well on gas, the best being a 3 way gas/mains/ battery the battery feature is really only for travelling between sites.
Locally I use Chelston electrical but since you are up the road quite a bit would suggest local camping centres or auto electric factor
Leisure batteries are good at holding a charge and take the deep cycling effect placed on them by this type of use, but try to avoid them going completely flat.

Hi all, need a bit of basic help and recommendations for a leisure battery.
Tis for our folding caravan and would be to keep a little fridge ticking over and water pump for sink, couple of lights etc. Just when were not hooked up.
Plansto only try it out for a weekend at a time for a while so hoping a charged (at home) leisure will do thetrick, butthis is new territory for me so advice and ideas welcome. Also placeto get one for sensible pennies would help
Got half an idea. ive worked at martins of exeter for almost 15 years now.
It's where I bought wobbly box last year, Martins been around for years (early childhood memories of hired campervans from them over 40 years ago, bloody hell, that makes me feel old ).
If they (or their staff) were no good, they wouldn't have lasted.
