Request for 2  TRF riders to marshall at Pontispool Nr Taunton.

It's a good day out riding your bike on private land, plus being fully fed and watered throughout the day

The timings are TBC

The local horse events like us to go along and do a variety of marshalling jobs for them.

This can be score collecting on a cross country course or marking out.

You normally get to ride private ground that you would never get to ride any other way.

This is also a good PR exercise for the TRF and we are seen in a more positive light by the horse brigade.

As a Brucie Bonus, we have also been given permission to half a half page advert in the programme!! Also each rider will a £60 payment for fuel costs.

 If you want picking up from exeter services I can fit two bikes in the van. You'll have to navigate though.

In fact Mike who's doing Sunday, is going up in his van from Teignmouth via Exeter, so anyone wanting a lift and splitting the fuel cost, then Mike has offered??????

Sorry harty I volunteered a while ago to Marshall on an enduro but can recommend it as the last one I did was a good day out plus £60 and lots of posh tottybiggrinbiggrin. 

You should be over subscribed in no time nowwink

Phew , That was a long day, but we didn't get too wet or cold. Thanks for the company Julian, not that there was much chatting time. There were some big names today, William Fox Pitt, Mark Todd and lots of Italians and Kiwis. They were very appreciative of our efforts, and so were the photographers.

Great day spent dodging showers and blatting round the estate. Anyone who's not done this before should give it a go! Some pretty impressive names, kit and skills on show yesterday. Nice to be appreciated by all, fed and watered too, even if the cake truck proved to be a bit elusive. Thanks for the lift and the company as well Jacki. Now gonna work on having our van kitted out like yours smile
