Thought this might be the place to ask if anyone can recommend somewhere in Wales that can provide accommodation for 4 to 5 greenlaners with a guide to show us the area.

One of our group is getting married and rather than the traditional stag weekend would rather have a few days away doing what he loves best.

Ideally we are after somewhere that is in the Brecons that is a out of the way with a local pup etc and can flex the days anytime in the week so not restricted to weekends and looking for 3 days riding ideally in September early October.

Thanks in advance

Send Brownie a message, he's up there next week with some lads and using a guide. There's quite a few places to stay, Llanchinnda B&B is all geared up for bikers or there's Radnor Revival Lodges which are cheap log cabins.

Stayed at llannerchinda a couple of times. Have also stayed in the cottage which is great if you fancy self catering.

Stayed at Radnor Revivals  a couple of years ago

A fantastic base for trail riding, I can't find the report & pics of the weekend I went but the following year Ollie led his own one in the same area, see here

Can't help with a guide but Radnor say they have routes available plus several DTRFG members will have track logs, though there's no guarantee they're up to date regarding legality of lanes.

Normally stay at the two pubs opposite each other in Rhayader one is the crown think the other is the lamb but not sure often go one day with a guide and one on our own. The best guide we have had and always use now is Clive brilliant guy with loads of knowledge.as one of my mates normally books clive and the pubs i dont have any numbers but if you are interested i can get them for you. Think Clive is about £120 for the day but as normally at least six of us go up it works out quiet cheap.Between the two pubs we have had ten stay before. Room for vans and trailers.
Pm me if you want more details
