CORE OFF-ROAD EVENTS FOREST PRACTICE DAY 3rd November Bratton Court

CORE OFF-ROAD EVENTS are pleased to announce our nextevent has been confirmed for Sunday 3rd November at the fantastic Bratton Court near Minehead.
This is quite possibly one of the best enduro tracks in the south of England with 5-8 miles of flowing broadleaf woodland.
Entries will be open in the next week or so via paypal as normal.

In 2014 CORE OFFROAD EVENTS will be holding a South west based hare and hounds race series throughout the year, we have the digital lap scoring in place and some fabulous venues. Please keep a look out on our website or facebook page for a fixtures list which will be published very soon.

No any tyre and bikes don't need to be road legal, pay per rider not per bike so feel free to bring trials bikes etc.

Ideal count me in. Also what will be involved in you hare and hounds race series as in will you need a race licence and if so how do you get one? How long Will the races be? What classes will there be? Ect

10 + due to insurance, ages 10-16 must be accompanied by an adult wearing a high vid vest when on track.

We are pleased to be able to confirm that ' the Combe mobile kitchen' will be in attendance at Bratton offering a wide range of hot and cold food, drinks and deserts. This is a sponsored unit from the local college so the food is excellent and incredibly cheap so please support this as much as you can whilst enjoying the day.

Pre entry has been very good so far but please keep them coming as it makes the admin a lot easier on the day as well as saving you a few quid.

Final instructions

Signed from the A39 Minehead- Porlock Road
Gates open at 8am, please do not queue on the A39 the police will move you on.
Track open 10am-4pm
All riders must sign on prior to going on the track
All riders will be issued with a wristband which must be shown before you will be allowed on track and may be asked to be seen at any point during the day.
Pay per rider not per bike - feel free to bring more than one bike
Suitable safety gear must be worn, helmet,boots etc. - If you turn up in wellies or trainers to ride you will be turned away.
Mx,enduro,trials bikes or quads only. - No pit bikes or 4x4's
Walking pace in the parking area please, theres over 5 miles of track to ride on
Dangerous or irresponsible behaviour will not be tolerated
Children aged 10-16 must be accompanied/followed on track by an adult wearing a high vis vest.
Please take all of your litter home
Cash payments only on the day
Above all ride safe,have fun and enjoy yourself.

If you need any help or advice please ask any of the marshalls who will be more than happy to help.

Hi Lads,
I'm new to the trf, I am going up on my own, can't wait, I don't know many devon lads, if you see a northern monkey on an 04 plate crf 250 wobbling round or just sweating in the pits please introduce yourself, its much more fun going out with other lads and then watching people disappear into the distance than being on your own !

Is it an all weather car park too?
Did an Enduroland event at this site, was proper carnage, having to tow pretty much everyone in to the car park. Massive queues on the road, numpty in a tractor who had only driven one round a farmyard for 5 minutes "to get the hang of it". We managed to plough our way in unaided in my Hilux, but only after waiting for nearly an hour to get a run at it.

Hoping you've got an alternative entrance off the road. Looking forward to it!!!!

Tractor and experienced driver on hand, I drove my fully laden front wheel drive van straight in with no issues in the pissing rain last weekend so if people know how to drive they will be fine, if they don't they will have to get pulled by the tractor.

Your right Chris. There is a great deal of discussion on both the vinduro uk forum and Mxtrax Vintage regarding a timecard enduro in the south or south/west. The only trouble is finding enough land for a time card (15-20 mile lap).

If you put a twinshock / Vinduro class in a Hare n Hounds I think you will still get a decent entry.
