Double Glazing Window repairs

I am in the need for a repair to one of the windows in my house, the hinge system is faulty so the window latch/security locks do not engage properly. Anyone know or prepared to assist in sorting out my problem please.

Have tried a few local double glazing firms but they just want to sell me a whole new system furiousfurious

You can purchase the hinges from Toolstation I think a pair cost £6.00, its a very simple job to do from what my mate says 20 mins max. There is also a company in Exeter that will repair not sure on cost. If you don't want to tackle it I can contact my mate to come out to repair just drop me a pm with a phone no and I will be in touch to arrange.

I got mine from Reddiseals Doug, casement window friction stays or if their for an upstairs window then use egress stays, they open fully out for emergency exit.

Easy job to do, in most cases the screw holes are the same so its a straight swap, the hardest bit is usually holding the window while refitting the screws so an extra pair of hands is a help.

Having taken a good look at the slider system it has been moved already and i fear the frame bottom might need replacing !!!
