No my Dads a collector, has ten in total but since his stroke cant ride and where they are stored is not ideal so my sister and I are receiving an early inheritance present just have to decide which ones I want and build a new garage to put them in
I've got a lot of books on British and Italian bikes and a mountain of Classic Bike mags that can be used for reference. Also have several bikes in the garage.

Hi Guys is there anyone out there with a wealth of knowledge on old bikes
BSA, TRIUMPH, VELOCETTE AND NORTON who is going to the meeting on Tuesday and I could pick your brains after for some advice
Olly Cooke is pretty well up on old school Brit bikes and will probably be along on Tuesday. Also, he has a lot of contacts in ye olde Brit bike world.

Thanks Brian. Stroke was four years ago so he feels a sort out is in order now. He has recovered well but is not able to drive
I could probably still do a nut and bolt assembly of a post WWII Velocette and tell what components are not original fittings.also put you in touch with local Velo Fellows.
Subject to work load likely to be at The Dolphin on Tuesday
I agree, better than money in the bank and which ever you sell, sometime in the future you will wish you hadn't.
You'll get plenty of people climbing all over you to buy them (I don't mean you Cubber) but don't rush into that unless you need to. I have the number for the local Bonhams bike man if you ever need it.

You're in the right trade to build a workshop for them !
Be careful though, you could end up with my predicament ..... I don't sell any ! I have reached the stage of "no more room". But I am building another Husky whatever !

I am thinking of putting in planning permission to extend my garage but every time I extend the garden/ grass cutting gets smaller so perhaps it's a good idea
