I have a problem, and I am not happy.

Trying to find a kick start for a 2005 640LC4, can you help?

The biggest prob is gona be to find a leg big enuff to kick the fat old bugger once you get a kick start.

I have such leg. 

My main problem is not snapping the next lever when she tries to rip my leg out of my arse and wrap it round my head 3 times. 

Apparently there is a knack, personally I think it to be a myth.

Give it a week and the magic button will be back.

Simon d has a 640 and says there is a knack to it! Might be worth a pm if your struggling

Bloody cheek. The 640 is the shopping model with the leccy start. Mine is the 660 kick start only.

Every big single has a knack to starting it and they all seem to be different. Had yzf 426 crosser a while ago and and when I first got it my mate used to have to come round and start it for me! 660 starts pretty much first time every time now but definitely not the case when I first had it. Just to add to the fun KTM decided that to increase the level of difficulty they would put the kick start on the left hand side!
