On Saturday 21st June I will be doing a tandem freefall skydive for ELF, at Dunkeswell Airport.
A year ago Julie, a very good friend of mine, was diagnosed with T Cell Lymphoma, a very rare & aggressive cancer.
She has fought it bravely with the support of the Exeter Leukaemia Fund. I've seen first hand what these wonderful people do, way above & beyond the call of duty.
The skydive is part of a world record attempt, 260 people in 24 hours (the record is currently set in Germany with 251 people), jumping from 15,000 feet, the highest in the world without needing extra O2, freefalling for around 2 miles at 120 mph .
Please sponsor me for this great cause, it would be greatly appreciated by an awful lot of people.
I'll be reciving sponsor forms soon & will bring them to meetings & events as well.
I know I was asking for similar for Movember a few months ago but this is much more of a challenge. I have always said I'd never do a skydive but if I can summon a tiny bit of the courage Jules has i'll do it

Thanks Joe, your donation & support is much appreciated.
Only 2 weeks & it'll all be over. At the moment I'm still around £100 short of the necessary minimum target so please try & find it in yourselves to donate something.
I'm doing this for ELF who have been amazing looking after my friend Julie. She is now in a fairly advanced stage of T-cell lymphoma & has a life expectancy of only 2 or 3 months.
Think how that must feel at only 49 years old!
She's hoping to be well enough to come & see me on the day, I'd love to be able to tell her I've raised a decent amount in her name.
