Was offered a run today but couldn't make it, couldn't stay off the Honda for a whole weekend so set off yesterday morning on a solo jaunt As with last weeks adventure I had nothing planned so just followed the front wheel again.....
Not been round my normal loop for months as it was a bit wet and some of the lanes were in danger of getting torn up so had stayed away - however now things had had chance to dry up a bit I thought I would go and see how they were looking.
An hour or so in I stopped to admire the view and the lanes were looking tip top
I carried on my normal loop for a bit longer and then met a lady on a horse (a Norwegian horse called Olaf as I recall) I stopped the bike and pulled in so she could pass but Olaf seemed to take a liking to the Honda and decided that he would stop for a chat
Some 15 mins later covered in horse slobber and hair we moved on and decided to 'head east' where the lanes are less used and the vegetation makes life more interesting
I got off for a reccy at one point and lost the bike !!!!
By now a brew was required so I popped over to see Dan and spent half an hour drinking his coffee - cheers Dan I then turned south and ended up at Offwell village fete
Another very pleasant day out on my own - life just seems 'gentler' on a Honda somehow
